Our western saddles are built by hand. We use only American quality skirting/tooling grade cowhide. All hand made wood trees are rawhide or fiberglass covered. We design, manufacture, import and distribute a quality line of western saddles, specializing in Oldtimer Saddles, Gaited Saddles, Mule Saddles, western and english bridles, halters, blankets, coolers and fly sheets. All of our products are manufactured of the best quality leather and materials we can buy.

Since the start of Western Saddle making, saddle and saddletree makers have tried almost everything to make their products better, or cheaper. They have tried everything from making trees out of polyethylene and fiber compositions injected into forms, to fiberglass covered wood trees. Most high quality saddle makers currently use bullhide covered wood trees built to their own custom specifications. Rawhide covering is a cheaper variation of this system, but not nearly as strong. Wood trees can be shaped easily by the manufacturer, without designing a new mold. Molded trees are much cheaper to make once the mold is created. Bullhide covered trees have the benefit of allowing custom design variations, as well as giving the saddle the strength needed for working cowboys. The bullhide covered tree has become, over time, the most proven, standard for quality saddles. We have our trees made by a saddletree manufacturer with over 100 years of saddletree experience. Bullhide covered trees are the most expensive type of tree to build, but we feel its worth it. We could save money by wraping the tree in rawhide, but we dont do that. We are proud of our saddle and want our customers to be happy. Although we do produce some custom saddles, we consider ourselves a semi-custom house. By using some standard designs and custom options we can sell our saddles for under a $1,000.00 with many under $600.00. We occasionally have some saddles in stock, but most are made to order. Our saddles compare in quality to many custom made saddles that sell for over $2500.00. Because of our love of the old time styles from the 1800's and early 1900's we specialize in the Old Timer Styles. These saddles styles have proven themselves over the last 100 years. Today they remain a testament to the saddle maker of the past. Modern manufacturing has created many shortcuts in saddlemaking. We refuse to compromise in most areas of saddle production. Our leather is hand shaped and fitted. We order only the best quality hides for our saddle production. We still tool and carve our leather designs by hand. These designs are much finer and detailed than machine stamped designs. This is the same method used by custom saddlemakers that sometimes charge as much as 3 or 4 hundred dollars, just for the custom leather tooling.
